Wedding Flowers
Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are the terms and conditions upon which STEELGRASS (“we/us”) makes available to you, the Customer, any of our services. By paying a booking fee to secure your wedding flowers with STEELGRASS you agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

Booking and Payment

Once the details for the wedding flowers have been confirmed, a formal quote will be provided. Should the ingredients or components for the intended final design of the product or service rise significantly, we shall notify you as soon as reasonably possible and review the quote.

 

A booking fee of 25% of the order is required to secure a delivery date. We will hold your delivery date for you for two weeks exclusively from the date of the quote, after which your delivery date or pricing may no longer be valid.

The booking fee of 25% is non-refundable but can be transferred across to an alternative date, subject to availability.

Thereafter payment terms are as follows:

  • 50% payable 12 weeks prior to the delivery date.

  • The remaining 25% due 8 weeks before the delivery date. All flowers and foliage need to be ordered 8-10 weeks prior to the delivery date. No orders will be placed until this payment has been received. Late payment is not acceptable.

  • For hired items, security deposit is payable 8 weeks before the delivery date. 

 

If the full payment is not received 8 weeks (56 calendar days) prior to the agreed delivery date, we reserve the right to deem the wedding flowers agreement no longer valid and all flowers and accessories relating to this agreement, including any hire arrangements, will be cancelled with no financial liability borne by us.
 

Payments can be made by cash, debit card or BACS transfer.
Payments via credit card may incur an additional charge at our discretion.
All costs are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.

 

Flowers, Foliage & Sundries

As we will be providing a natural product, please be aware that the quality and colours may differ slightly to those discussed and agreed, depending on season and availability.
We reserve the right to substitute what we deem as suitable alternative sundries, foliage and flowers from those agreed. We endeavour to keep the designs and finished work as close to the agreed requirements as possible. In the event that we are unable to supply product, service or any substitute product or service to you at all, we shall notify you as soon as is reasonably possible and shall reimburse your payment in full.


Flowers and other plant material are for display purposes only and not for consumption.

Because of the perishable nature of our products, please keep the products away from draft, water, heat or strong fumes and in its tissue paper or box until the event.

Hired Items

We will charge the Customer a security deposit for any hired items.
All hired items must be returned by the Customer, clean and undamaged, within 5 calendar days after the event.
Should any hired items be missing or damaged at the wedding, then the full payment to replace these items will be deducted from the security deposit. Should all items be returned safely, then the security deposit will be returned within 2 days after hired items have been returned.


A 'clear down' fee will be charged to the Customer should we be required to clear down and carry away items at the venue after the event.

 

Liability

STEELGRASS shall not be liable for any breach of copyrights, trademarks or rights of privacy or publicity relating to materials supplied by the Customer.
STEELGRASS shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to any third party arising out of any work carried out by STEELGRASS for the Customer.
STEELGRASS expressly excludes liability for special indirect or consequential losses which may arise including the Customer's loss of profit, business revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings.
STEELGRASS will not be held responsible for loss or damage caused as a result of a third party or environmental issues associated with the venue.
Where candles are incorporated within the design, i.e. table centre candelabra, it is the Customer's responsibility to agree with the venue provider whether the venue and the proposed location of the piece deem it safe within their health and safety policy for the candles to be lit. STEELGRASS will supply good quality, drip-proof candles in secure holders but cannot be held responsible should the provider of the venue deem it unsafe, at the time, for them to be lit.
In the event that STEELGRASS is held liable to the Customer in respect of direct damage caused by STEELGRASS's breach, such liability shall be limited to the total amount of monies paid to STEELGRASS by the Customer under the terms of the relevant contract. The Customer agrees that this shall constitute its exclusive remedy.
 

 

Cancellation

Cancellation of this agreement by the Customer should be made no later than 56 calendar days (8 weeks) prior to the agreed delivery date. At this time any monies paid, except booking fees and the admin fee of £50, are fully refundable.

If a cancellation of the agreement is received less than 56 calendar days prior to the delivery date, no moneys will be refunded.
All cancellation notifications must be received by STEELGRASS in writing and signed by the Customer. STEELGRASS will acknowledge such cancellation.

 

Complaints

In the unlikely event of a complaint please inform STEELGRASS as soon as possible so that every effort can be made to rectify the problem prior to your wedding.

General

STEELGRASS reserves the right to supplement and amend these Terms and Conditions. We will inform the Customer of any changes to these Terms and Conditions.

 

STEELGRASS reserves the right to suspend, restrict or terminate STEELGRASS products or services for any reason at any time.
